Qualifications


    • A degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or another closely related field
    • Minimum of five years of relevant experience implementing project communications for USAID or other international donor-funded projects
    • Proven experience producing project reports and marketing materials for an international donor audience
    • Experience working in East Africa, particularly in Rwanda
    • Experience with USAID programming highly preferred
    • Proven ability to work collaboratively with government officials, international donors, and private sector stakeholders
    • Excellent written and oral communications skills
    • Fluency in written and spoken English required

    • Expert knowledge on monitoring and evaluation of international donor-funded programs, with experience in Feed the Future indicators preferred

    Responsibilities include: 


      • Lead strategic planning, management, and technical implementation
      • Develop annual work plans, and ensure their timely implementation toward targets
      • Prepare and submit progress reports on activities and achievement of program goals to USAID
      • Collaborate, learn, and adapt approaches in response to M&E information to enhance results
      • Monitor the project’s financial management and procedures, ensuring compliance with USAID regulations
      • Provide technical oversight and supervision of project personnel, subcontractors, and grantees
      • Establish and maintain positive relationships with host-government partners and other stakeholders
      • Ensure all project assistance is technically sound and appropriate
      • Serve as official liaison to USAID for the project
      Qualifications:
