III. Background & Purpose
Christian Blind Mission (CBM) is supporting Gahini Hospital in delivering a wide range of rehabilitation services including orthopedic surgery, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, fabrication of prosthesis and orthosis among others. As part of the implementation of a multiyear development programme to transform CRF Gahini into a Center of Excellence in comprehensive rehabilitation, Gahini Hospital would like to recruit a CRF Programme Manager. The purpose of this position is to ensure effective and efficient implementation and monitoring of the CRF Programme.
Structure of authority:The incumbent will report to the Director of Gahini Hospital.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure effective and efficient implementation of the programme in general;
- In collaboration with other staff, carry out the implementation of the strategic and operational plans of the CRF programme including their periodic fine tuning;
- Carry out periodic monitoring and evaluation of the CRF programme including timely preparation and submission of all relevant reports to the line manager;
- Enhance and execute the development plans of all CRF sub departments/projects in a manner that will make them self-sustaining in nature;
- Under the supervision of the Director of Finance and in collaboration with other senior financial personnel, follow up the budget execution status of the CRF programme;
- Maintain and promote established partnerships/sponsorships including initiation of new ones after consultation with the line manager;
- Ensure proper monitoring and quality control of the programme activities;
- Under the supervision of the Hospital senior management and in collaboration with other concerned staff, ensure all budgetary as well as narrative and financial reports are timely produced;
- Promote and maintain good relationships and networking..!”‘ith different stakeholders;
- At the request of the line manager, represent the hospital in some meetings relating to disability issues organized by the Government and other stakeholders;
- Organize and coordinate field visits by the donors and other stakeholders as directed by the senior management of the Hospital;
- Collation of information, case documentation and database development as required, e,g, best practice examples, data management, stakeholder information etc.;
- Taking up any other related duties assigned and agreed by the line manager,
Qualifications and Experience:
- University degree’ in Management, Project Management, Social/Development Studies or related field;
- A Master’s degree in the fields mentioned above is a definite advantage;
- Minimum of 3 year experience in Project/Programme Management within a reputable development organization;
- Experience in the field of disability is an advantage;
- Proven experience in project monitoring and budget control;
- Proven competence in project report writing;
- Experience in proposal writing;
- Financial management background as a plus,

- Demonstrated ability to manage systems and processes with strong project management skills;
- Experience in leading trainings or workshops and/or curriculum development preferred;
- Comfortable working under frequent, tight time lines and delivering high-quality work products on time;
- Commitment to health and social justice issues and understanding of global health and development
