Job Description

1.Participate in and elaborate the development and implementation of action plans related to the CBT/CBA in line with quality assurance guidelines and procedures
2.Implement pedagogical training to IPRC and stakeholders for pedagogical training quality assurance based on approved standards, norms, criteria and indicators of CBT/CBA approach in line with ToT implementation framework;
3.Implement mentoring and coaching quality management to TVET institutions and stakeholders for pedagogical training based on approved standards, norms, criteria and indicators of academic quality assurance;
4.Implement the communication and data management on quality audits, mentoring and coaching regarding pedagogy monitoring through TVET Management Information System;
5.Ensure capacity building of academic / teaching staff regarding pedagogical upgrade skills
6.Implement communication and collaboration on pedagogical quality audits, mentoring and coaching regarding pedagogy monitoring procedures;
7.Provide technical and professional advice to her/his supervisor on technical pedagogical monitoring approaches in line with new instructional technologies for quality training delivery;
8.Provide inputs in the setup of the standards, norms, criteria and indicators for TVET trainer licensing/certification processes;
9.Provide inputs in the preparation of pedagogical procedures and operational guidelines

 

Job Profile

Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, Agriculture, Hospitality & Recreational Arts with a PGD in
Education, Education Arts and Humanities, Educational Sciences, Computer Science, Business
Administration, Education, Economics

Key technical skills and knowledge:

– Specialist knowledge and competency supported by relevant qualification:

– Relevant skills in training using Participatory & Active teaching methods.

– Pedagogical skills and knowledge

– Strong knowledge in TVET system.

– Additional training in CBT training

– Reporting skills

– Fluent in Kinyarwanda and English or French
