Job Description

Human Resource Management

– Manage MHC’s human resources administration, sound compensation and benefits, performance appraisal, training and recruitment system;

– Ensure that recruitment processes are consistent and streamlined;

– Establish and manage a comprehensive training program to educate employees in regards of staff tools, policies, and procedures;

– Oversee administrative functions as well as facilities to ensure efficient and consistent operations according to the organization mandate;

– Oversee Performance reviews for MHC staff;

– Acting as an effective advocate of the MHC both internally and externally;

Financial Management

– Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner;

– Compile monthly and annual financial statements;

– Oversee all financial, project/program, and grants accounting;

– Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with Internal Auditor and the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors; assess any changes necessary;

– Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with the Executive Director;

– Administer and review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes;

– Keep senior leadership team abreast of the organization’s financial status;

– Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting;

– Implement a robust contracts management and financial management

Job Profile

1. Qualification

A0 in Accounting, Public Finance with at least 3 years working experience or Master’s degree in Accounting, Public Finance with at least 1 years working experience


2. Knowledge and skills

 

– Leadership and management skills;

– Planning, Coordination and organizational skills;

– Communication skills;

– Strong IT skills, particularly inFinancial software(SMART IFMIS);

– Knowledge of human resource concepts, practices, policies and procedures;

– Knowledge of organizational structure
