Job Description

1. Participate in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair so that the infrastructure is in good operating condition and safe;
2. Collaborate with design engineers on upgrade and development projects by providing technical input to the infrastructure design;
3. Contribute to installation planning, problem
– solving during installation, and proactive communication with design engineers throughout the project;
4. Organize and conduct inventories to insure that tools and parts are available;
5. Undertake proactive health and safety inspections, audits, monitoring and preventative maintenance for all infrastructure sites
6. Undertake maintenance schedules, regular inspection, maintenance, repair and replacement of items infrastructure;
7. Administer supervision of engineers and other maintenance personnel works;
8. Comply with Health and Safety by: adhering to standards;
9. Collaborate closely with the Environmental and Hygiene Team to ensure all new projects, works and improvements are sustainable, well designed and fit for purpose;
10. Deputize as necessary for the supervisor;
11. Submit monthly, quarterly and annually report to the supervisor
12. Perform other related duties as required

 

Job Profile

“A0 in civil engineering.

Key Technical Skills & Knowledge required:

– Knowledge in the Rwanda Infrastructure Sector;

– Knowledge in infrastructure technologies;

– Knowledge in healthcare regulatory compliance programs;

– Knowledge in health Infrastructure, noms and Standards;

– Knowledge in identifying potential health sites;

– Knowledge in Public health Infrastructure,

– Knowledge in health systems;

– Master planning skills;

– Presentation skills;

– Quality Control Analysis Skills;

– High Critical Thinking Skills;

– Complex Problem Solving Skills;

– Judgment and Decision Making Skills;

– Planning & Organizational Skills;

– Research Skills & Writing Skills;

– Interpersonal Skills

– Effective communication skills;

– Time Management Skills;

– Computer Skills;

– Complex Problem solving Skills;

– Fluency in Kinyarwanda, English and/ or French; knowledge of all is an advantage.
