
University of Rwanda in collaboration with the project entitled “Environmental Virtual Observatories for Connective Action” funded by the Interdisciplinary Research and Education Fund (INREF) of Wageningen University and Research, the Netherlands wishes to recruit qualified personnel for data collection for the duration of 11 days under this project which will be conducted in Ruhuha Sector, Bugesera district.
The selected candidates will have to sign a contract. Below are the details of terms of reference and qualifications required.
Terms of reference of the position
➢ Preparation of the interviewees/respondents by explaining the purpose of the research
➢ Timely and accurate data collection and recording;
➢ Probe to clarify unclear answers;
➢Collaborating with the researchers from the whole team;
➢Keep safely the tools/materials for data collection before, during and after use > Ensure data quality and reporting
Qualifications for position
➢ Rwandan nationality;
➢At least Bachelor’s degree in medical, health sciences, and other related fields
➢Experience in data collection activities (with a proof)
➢Experience in using tablet computer during data collection (with a proof)
➢Computer skills (Word, Excel),
➢Fluency in written and spoken Kinyarwanda and English
➢Verbal, written and organizational skills and attention to detail
➢ Available on full-time basis for the entire period of data collection
