New Precision Co. Ltd. is a private company located at Ruyenzi, Runda, Kamonyi Ditrict whose mission is to engage in manufacturing. The company is currently seeking to recruit
Position: Beverage Factory Machine Operators
Purpose of the Role:
To operate, monitor, and maintain assigned machinery in a manufacturing environment to ensure efficient and safe production of goods in accordance with company standards and production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery and equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery.
- Report any faults, malfunctions, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Keep accurate records of production, downtime, and maintenance activities.
- Adhere to all company policies, including health and safety regulations.
- Assist with changeovers, cleaning, and equipment setup when required.
- Ensure raw materials are loaded and products are unloaded correctly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Mechatronics, or a related technical fields
- 3 years of experience in operating industrial machinery in a factory or manufacturing environment is an added asset.
- Proven ability to set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot complex machinery (e.g., CNC machines, injection melding equipment, high-speed packaging lines).
- Familiarity with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, automation technologies, or SCADA systems is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of ISO standards, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), or other relevant industry regulations.
- Competence in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and machine manuals.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and manufacturing software systems (e.g., SAP, MES).
Skills and Competencies:
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods.
- Knowledge of safety standards and protocols.
Working Conditions:
- May involve shift work, including nights and weekends.
- Work in noisy, dusty, or high-temperature environments depending on the industry.
- Required to wear protective clothing and equipment (PPE).
