Aim and Benefits of Newcastle University International Foundation Scholarship
Each scholarship is to the value of £20,000 or £10,000. You’ll receive the scholarship in two parts:
- £10,000 or £5,000 will be deducted from your International Foundation tuition fees.
- £10,000 or £5,000 will be paid towards your Year 1 tuition fees at Newcastle University
To get the second part of the scholarship you must successfully progress to a degree course at Newcastle University.

Requirements for Newcastle University International Foundation Scholarship Qualification
To apply you must already hold an offer to study at INTO Newcastle University in one of our foundation programmes.
The scholarships are for the following courses:
- Architecture International Foundation
- Business and Management International Foundation
- Humanities and Social Sciences International Foundation
- Science, Computing, Engineering and Mathematics International Foundation
- Biomedicine, Biology and Pharmacy International Foundation

Application deadlines:
- If you’re beginning your course in September 2023 you must submit your application by 30 June 2024.
- If you’re beginning your course in January 2024 you must submit your application by 30 November 2024.
