Recruitment for teacher for AIMPO early childhood development centre.
African Initiative for Mankind Progress Organization (AIMPO) was established in 2001 in Kigali, Rwanda. It is a non-governmental organization to advances the rights and interests of Historically Marginalised People and other vulnerable communities in Rwanda.
AIMPO recently build a new learning Centre for children aged (0-6) in Gicumbi. It intends to create a child-centred learning centre based on the Montessori teaching method (adapted for rural communities with limited resources and teaching staff).
AIMPO now wishes to recruit a Kinyarwanda/English-speaking experienced early childhood teacher. The successful candidate will receive intensive training in the Montessori philosophy and teaching methods (both in-class and online). Training will include how to create and operate a Montessori classroom, make equipment.
Experience & Qualifications
Qualified teacher with 3 years of experience in the field of primary education
Kinyarwanda native speaker with a good working knowledge of English and French.
Can use computers, email, Microsoft Office
Live in the area where the school is located/Gicumbi district.
