Job description

 Create a system that facilitate effective collection and correction of data in the sector;
 Collect data and evidences for elaboration of sector policies, strategies and plans;
 Cross check and triangulate the sector’s available data and figures with publicly available sources;
 Report, drafting, and submission to the Director General of Future Planning;
 Provide an essential framework to be used in the collection, preparation, recording and use of statistics in the sector;
 Undertake important recommendations for research in the sector;
 Ensure regular update of the sector databank;
 Collaborate with technical staff in developing tools that facilitate stakeholders to harmonize and exchange sector related information;
 Collaborate with NISR and other sectors to ensure collection and reporting of ICT and Innovation sector disaggregated data at all level;
 Ensure regular update of the sector indicators and baselines;
 Provide Technical advice to sector staff and stakeholders in area of statistics;

 Collect the data and evidence for elaboration of sector policies, strategies and plans;
 Cross check and triangulate the sector’s available data and figures with publicly available sources;
 Provide information on needed information during the planning and budgeting process;
