Study Free in Romania – Transilvania University Fully Funded Masters, PhD Scholarships 2024-2025 for International Students: (Deadline Varies)
Are you considering studying in Romania and looking for options? International students may apply for the Transilvania Academica Scholarship at Transilvania University. The award is available to international students from non-EU or non-EEA countries. The scholarship is offered for pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree program. Romania is a European Union member, thus you can travel to other EU nations without a visa.
The Transilvania Academica Scholarship will cover all of your tuition and dormitory accommodations. The scholarship also provides a monthly payment to cover living expenses. Students can work a part-time job for up to 20 hours each week. You can also apply for the Romania Government Scholarship 2024, which is open until March 16th, 2024.

The scholarship will be provided for the whole term of the Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs.
Scholarship Amount
The scholarship covers the following:
- Tuition costs (including enrollment and graduation fees)
- Accommodation in the university dormitories is free (including holidays).
- a monthly allowance of 800 lei (about 170 USD, including vacations)
Documents Required
The application file contains the following documents (.pdf format):
- Curriculum vita
- Motivational letter (maximum of one page).
- Three letters of recommendation in support of the candidate’s remarkable performance.
How to apply
The candidates must complete the online application form, as indicated in the Application File section below. The Transilvania Academica Scholarship candidates will follow the Transilvania University admissions procedure, which may be found here.
Selected candidates for the scholarship will be notified by email by May 31, 2024.
Students then apply online for admission to the university from May 20, 2024 to July 15, 2024.
