 TITLE: Expression of Interest (EOI) for Nursery Bed Development and Production of 15,000 Resistant Fruit Tree Seedlings

Rwanda Environmental Conservation Organisation (RECOR) is a national non-profit making organization working in different sectors of the Environment including agro-forestry and agroecology practices, climate change mitigation and adaptation, water resources management, and WASH, Biodiversity Conservation, environmental education, promotion of the utilization of renewable energy, soil conservation, etc.  The vision of RECOR is “a country where integrated environmental management offers sustainable livelihoods” while the mission is to “advocate for and take positive national action on environmental and wildlife challenges”.

1. Under the financial support from Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), The Rwanda Environmental Conservation Organization (RECOR) is implementing the project entitled “Agro-ecology practices promotion as climate resilience and sustainable agriculture in Nyamata Sector, Bugesera District.” in Eastern Province, in the villages of Karambi, Murambi, and Rutobotobo.

For this reason, RECOR is inviting companies, Enterprises, or Individuals with experience in Fruit tree seedlings for the production and supply for the following lot:

Lot 1: Nursery Bed Development and Production of 15,000 Resistant Fruit Tree Seedlings

A portion of the project funds will be used to establish a nursery bed in Karambi Village and produce 15,000 resistant fruit tree seedlings (Avocados, Tree-Tomatoes, Papaya, and Oranges) adapted to Bugesera climate and soil quality as the quantities are mentioned in the table below:

Bidders can apply for one of the lots or all.

2. Participation in the competition is open on equal opportunities and conditions to all companies, individuals with TIN Number of enterprises specialized in the field of nursery beds establishment and fruit tree seedlings production.

3. 4. The Bids and Expression of Interest (EOI) can be sent in French or English and the Bids must be sent to RECOR Email (inforecor1@gmail.com) no later than 25/09/2020 at 14h00 pm, Kigali Time. Late bids will be rejected.

5. The opening of bids will take place on 26/09/2020 at 10h30 am at the Head Office of RECOR in the presence of bidders or their representatives.
