I. Background and Context

Love to Help Organization (L2HO) is a non-profit making organization established in 2005 and got its legal personality on 20/12/2017 according to the Rwandan Law No. 04/12 of 17/02/2017. Its legal personality bears No. 185/RGB/NG/LP/12/2017.

Mandate: Serve the disadvantaged/marginalized people and people living with HIV/AIDS and fight against poverty in Rwanda. Compelled love, compassion, and commitment Love to Help Organization (L2HO) wants to bring safety, self-sustainability, and greater self-esteem to the most vulnerable.

Under the financial support from Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), L2HO is implementing the project entitled “Socio-Economic and Professional Integration Project (SEPI-Project in Muganza Sector, Nyaruguru District, Southern Province”.

For this reason, Love to Help Organization (L2HO) wants to distribute its portion of the budget towards the “Supply and delivery of 56 pigs (49 females and 7 males) in Muganza Sector, Nyaruguru District, Southern. These pigs should be between 4 to 6 months of age. They must be vaccinated for month, treated, and replaced by the dead.

In addition, these pigs must have a Veterinary Certificate certifying that they do not have a disease.

 Bidders shall provide the qualification information statement that the bidder (including all members of a joint venture and subcontractors) is not associated, or have been associated in the past, directly or indirectly, with a firm or any of its affiliates which have been engaged by L2HO to provide consulting services for the preparation of the design, specifications, and other documents to be used for the procurement of the goods under this Invitation for tenders.

II.    Cost of Bidding

The Bidders shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of their tenders, and L2HO, will in no case be responsible or liable for those costs, regardless of the conduct or outcome of the tendering process.

III.    Expertise

  • 3 references and/or certificates of good completion.
  • Proposals: good presentation accompanied by signed letter of intent.
  • Payment slip testifying the bidder has paid ten thousand Rwandan Francs (10,000 RwF) [non-refundable] on the Account No. 407466228710117 open in Banque Populaire du Rwanda (BPR).
  • Administrative documents as exhibited in the communiqué.

Interested company are required to submit both Technical and Financial Proposals/quotations in hard format (hard copy) to L2HO Office at Kacyiru, Gasabo, Anglican Church Area, opposite Mosque, small street No.576, house No.6, not later than 23 March 2021 at 10:00AM. Public opening will be held on the same day at 10:30 AM.
