1.About Plan International

2. ETHICS AND IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS

Plan International Rwanda is fully committed to the gender responsive safeguarding of all children and young people from all forms of violence. We take very seriously our responsibility and duty to ensure that we, as an organization, and anyone who represents us does not in any way harm, abuse or commit any other act of violence against children and young people or place them at risk of the same.

ToR for supporting 22 youth/teen mothers’ groups of Gatsibo and 5 groups of Bugesera who graduated from TVET schools with basic tailoring materials

Plan International Rwanda hereby invites registered and reputable companies to submit their administratve documents and financial proposal for the “ Supply of basic tailoring materials”for graduated teen mother’s group in Bugesera District and teen mother’s group in Gatsibo District.

3. RFP SUBMISSION AND ACCEPTANCE

Respondents shall prepare responses in compliance with all instruction and qualifications outlined in this notice. Respondents must provide administrative documents and financial proposal and  submission will be done electronically due to this ongoing COVID -19 pandemic. Participation in the competition is open on equal conditions to national companies or enterprises specialized in the above field with a valid trading license.

Late responses will not be considered. Electronic submissions will not be considered. Partial or incomplete responses will be rejected. Plan International Rwanda reserves the right to reject any or all responses to this RFP and to waive any irregularities, technicalities, or omissions therein. Plan International Rwanda also reserves the right to reject any proposal it deems not to in its best interests.

4. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Interested applicants should provide a proposal covering the following:

1. RDB certificate
2. VAT Certificate
3. Three good completion certificates of the general supply and having the certicate in the similar work will be an advantage.
4. Must be committed to respecting deadline of delivery within 7 working days starting from the reception of the Pucharse Order.
5. Familiarity with PLAN operations and safeguarding policy will be advantage.
6. Detailed quotation including VAT respecting quantity and specifications of the items specified in the annex.
