Terms of Reference for Provision of Insurances (General Assets, vehicles and motor cycles) for IUCN: Deadline: 10 August 2020
1. Background
IUCN, International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources, is a membership Union uniquely composed of both government and civil society organizations, with its World Headquarters located at Rue Mauverney 28, 1196 Gland, Switzerland operating in Kenya through its Eastern and Southern Africa Region Office (ESARO) with a Programme Office in Rwanda at Kigali, Plot 1003, Ubumwe cell, Africa Union Boulevards.
According to the Procurement and logistics manual, IUCN is supposed to be working with the pre-qualified suppliers of goods and service providers. The list of the pre-qualified Suppliers should be updated at least on annual basis.
2. Objective of the ToR
The main objective is to have the updated list of the pre-qualified suppliers of goods and service providers from whom IUCN will be choosing the ones to work within a period of one year.
3. Expected outcomes:
It is expected that the list of pre-qualified suppliers of goods and service providers will be provided and used during that period of one year.
4. Target group
The targeted group is made up of all applicants who will submit the complete required documents to be on the list of suppliers of goods and service providers of IUCN.
5. Methodology
The methodology will follow the schedule below:
A. Desk review: The analysis of the applications from the suppliers and services providers;
B. Field visit to their physical location: Field visit to the suppliers of goods and service providers to their physical address;
C. Draft report of the recommended pre-qualified suppliers and vendors
D. Final recommendation and management approval

Submission of Applications
All interested and qualified companies should submit the applications with attachment of complete data required in the pre-qualification documents from 27th July 2020 to 10th August 2020 at 5:00 PM to the email: rwanda@iucn.org and copy to Valentine.Ikirezi@iucn.org.
