Women Scholarship in Management 2020 at ESMT Berlin: ( 31 March,2020 )

ESMT scholarships for women are available for application for women pursuing Masters in Management (MIM) in Berlin. The Women Scholarship in Management help to garner and nurture goal of international business career a reality. Supported by its 25 corporate founders, ESMT offers a number of partial-tuition scholarships for MIM applicants. Every year, there are also a limited number of prestigious full-tuition scholarships available.

ESMT allocates scholarships based on academic excellence, personal and professional achievement, particularly strong leadership potential, and superior interpersonal skills. However, management scholarships are only available to self-funded candidates and are directly payable to the applicant’s tuition fee.

Furthermore, ESMT Berlin offers altogether three Women in Management Scholarship that deduces up to € 12,500 from the tuition fee. Candidates can apply for 30% ESMT MIM Women’s Scholarship (available for 1 student) or Women in STEM Scholarship (available for 2 Students)

30%  ESMT MIM Women’s Scholarship

The 30% Club is a global gender diversity campaign which aims to increase the number of women on boards, and throughout the pipeline. Starting in 2010 in the UK with a goal of achieving a minimum of 30% women on FTSE-100 boards, currently, the figure stands at 26.1% up from 12.5%. Moreover, the 30% Club aims to develop a diverse pool of talent for all businesses through the efforts of its Chair and CEO members, who are committed to better gender balance at all levels of their organizations. Business leadership is key to the 30% Club mission, taking the issue beyond a specialist diversity effort as well as into mainstream talent management.

ESMT Berlin and the 30% Club commits to addressing gender imbalance and to helping more women reach influential positions. Hence, the 30% Club/ESMT MIM Scholarship has been established to encourage and support outstanding women who are aspiring towards leadership roles.

Value: up to € 12,500

Eligibility:

Female candidates who have demonstrated a clear path towards leadership during their previous studies or who show a strong desire to move into leadership roles in the future.

Requirements:

Candidates should complete the scholarship essay as part of their ESMT online application explaining how they qualify for this scholarship.

Women in STEM Scholarship

Number of scholarships available: two

Value: up to € 10,000

Eligibility

Female candidates with outstanding academic excellence and a first degree in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics)

Requirements

Candidates should complete the scholarship essay as part of their ESMT online application explaining how they qualify for this scholarship. Applications from underrepresented countries in the developing world are especially encouraged to apply for this scholarship.

How to apply for the Women in Management Scholarship?

Only eligible women candidates can apply for the Management Scholarship at ESMT Berlin. In order to receive a scholarship, candidates must, at first, apply to the ESMT Master’s in Management program. Moreover, the candidates should meet the additional program criteria to gain admission at ESMT.

The online application for the Women Scholarship constitutes an extra essay for applicants to explain their suitability for a scholarship. Hence, the applicants must submit the essay as well while applying for the scholarship.

Deadline

The deadline for the application for the ESMT Master’s in Management program is on 31 March 2020. Hence, Women applicants receiving an admission may only apply for the Management Scholarship.
