Minnetonka, Minnesota, Job Description Position: Full time, salaried position, responsible for the development and execution of the strategic marketing plan, as well as enhance business development opportunities through various client acquisition strategies, for BlueStem Wealth Partners, A private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC.

Responsibilities Essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Acts as a driving force behind generating new referrals, leads, and contacts, by developing print and electronic communications that engage clients and prospects of the firm Manage social media content to actively seek out new business opportunities Update and maintain various webpages to maintain consistent brand image Uses strategic planning to originate and coordinate events, seminars, webinars and other business development initiatives that engage clients and prospects of the firm Develops effective messaging that is consistent across all marketing initiatives to ensure our firm’s brand and value proposition is clear and focused on our target market Ensures all marketing materials, communications, advertisements, radio scripts, video scrips, stationery, business cards, advisor bio sheets, team brochure inserts and other marketing material, is approved by the Ameriprise corporate office and is monitored for changes.

Own all marketing documentation and content management Works with the financial advisors to develop goals with an individualized approach to drive client acquisition results Present marketing updates to leadership, advisors and staff on a regular basis Proactively seek out opportunities to expand marketing programs and research industry best practices to add value to the organization and drive results Maintains client database and manages process for client mailings Development of quarterly newsletter to update our clients on timely financial topics, advisor/staff accomplishments and other items of interest Community relations coordination by determining best way our team can serve within our neighborhoods and involve clients by providing a way for them to participate Supervisory Responsibilities: this position will be responsible for co-leadership of Office Administrator who will support this role on a part time basis.

Location: based out of our Minnetonka, MN office.

However, some virtual or telecommuting work may be considered.

Additionally, some travel is required for overseeing client events Required Qualifications Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Demonstrated strong level of interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills.

Results oriented individual who thrives on achieving set goals.

Proven client acquisition results using social media and other business development methods, preferably in the financial services industry.

Ability to drive effective content and update our team website as well as postings on LinkedIn and Facebook.

Effective and consistent communication with advisors, operations staff and management .

Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Positive attitude and sincere willingness to constantly learn and grow.

Actively contribute to the process efficiency goals with new ideas.

Ability to gather and analyze data to recommend future business development initiatives.

Ability to support and provide guidance for compliance on Ameriprise policies.

Proficiency with MS Office Suite and ability to learn Ameriprise applications.

Education and Other Designations: 5+ years of proven marketing & business development experience, preferably in the financial services industry.

College degree or higher.

Securities licenses preferred or willingness to acquire.
