This is a 14 bed residential program and an IOP program.
You have the opportunity to change the lives of youth who are struggling with substance issues and emotional difficulties.
You will workwith a dedicated multidisciplinary team to treat youth and teach recovery and life skills to create change.
Responsibilities/Job Description The Psych Associate is responsible for the delivery of patient care, and promotion of a therapeutic environment as delegated by program supervisor so that the goals and objectives of treatment are achieved on each unit as assigned.
Conduct psycho-education group activities and recreation activites.
Perform light cooking and cleaning tasks.
Physical Demands:Sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, push/pull, stooping/crouching, finger dexterity, speaking,hearing and visual.
Mental Demands:Frequent people contact, irregular work schedule, detailed work, frequent interruptions, decisions making skills, concentration, ability to work independently, multitasking, organizations skills, working with others, de-escalation, electronic health record documentation.
Physical Environment:Noise, infectious disease, moving machinery, fumes/gases, human tissue/fluids, radiation, telephone usage, chemicals, biohazard matl and work inside.
Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelors Degree Basic Life Support Certification Valid Minnesota Drivers License Ability to pass background and driving record check and have a safe driving record per Fairviews Motor Vehicle policy standards Experience working with adolescents Preferred Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Psychology or Human Services Field Experience working in the mental health or substance abuse field We can recommend jobs specifically for you.
