Albuquerque, New Mexico, Position Summary: Assist with project planning.
Organize and document planned procedures for assigned portion of systems project design, documentation, training and installation.
Coordinate project implementation with vendors associated with specific products.
Responsible for managing Hospitals’ confidential information such as employee information, performance management, legal and regulatory compliance.
Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures.
No patient care assignment.
Related Education and Experience may be substituted for one another on a year for year basis.
Accountability: SYSTEMS – Understand and maintain knowledge of all Hospitals information, software, hardware, and operating systems or those specifically assigned.
Assist with system maintenance and modification as needed DESIGN – Assist with the design and implementation of information, software, hardware, and operating systems CONFIGURATION – Assist with the development of policies, standards and direction for system configuration SOFTWARE – Assist implementation of software on new and existing systems for department or individual use IMPLEMENTATION – Assist configuration and implementation of server and client side systems applications NEEDS ANALYSIS – Communicate and collaborate with technical and non-technical personnel to understand and define user needs, gather and analyze data and recommend solutions MAINTENANCE – Maintain hardware and software systems PROJECTS – Provide support, maintenance and administration for assigned IT projects.
Prepare and present status reports on assigned projects MANUALS – Assist in the development, updating and maintenance of operating/training manuals TESTING – Assist with testing leading edge systems technologies STANDARDIZATION – Participate in the Hospitals hardware and software standardization efforts as appropriate and assigned COMMUNICATION – Communicate with technical and non-technical personnel on systems issues to understand and respond to user needs DEVELOPMENT – Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, reading current literature, attending in-services, meetings and workshops Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Vocational training post-high school in related field Experience Requirements: 2 years directly related experience Education Requirements – Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline Physical Demands Requirements: Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
