Job Description

1° to support District authorities to enforce their
decisions and instructions that were taken in
connection with security;

2° to collaborate with other organs to ensure
public order in the District;
3° to arrest any person caught red
– handed in the
act of disruption of public order and take
him/her to the nearest police station ;

4° to inform the nearest administrative organs of
anything which in its opinion represents a
threat to safety;

5° to assist other security organs if necessary;

6° to collaborate with other organs in the
prevention and control of disasters in the
District.

Job Profile

At least A2 in any field of Studies / or A3 Experience in Security
Key Technical Skills and Knowledge Required:

– Extensive knowledge and understanding of the Central and Local Government Functionality;

– In
– depth understanding and knowldge of the Rwandan and regional context for agribusiness development;

– Computer Skills;

– Organizational Skills;

– Communication Skills;

– High analytical Skills;

– Complex Problem Solving;

– Time management Skills;

– Team working Skills;

– Fluency in Kinyarwanda, English and/ or French; knowledge of all is an advantage

2º replace a DASSO Coordinator in case of his/her unavailability;
3º monitor DASSO members operating in decentralised administratives entities or in various areas in the District;
4º perform any other activities assigned by District authorities, related to his/her responsibilities;
5º perform any other duties assigned by the DASSO Coordinator.
