Role Overview:
As the Social Media and Admin Coordinator, you’ll be at the forefront of our communication efforts, shaping our online presence and supporting organisational operations. This is a volunteer position with the potential to make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management:
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging posts across platforms like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Monitor trends and analytics to optimise content performance.
- Respond to messages and comments to foster an active community.
- Content Creation:
- Develop eye-catching graphics, videos, and written content that align with our mission.
- Collaborate with team members to highlight events, campaigns, and initiatives.
- Administrative Support:
- Assist in organising events, meetings, and campaigns.
- Manage calendars, communications, and documentations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience:
- Proven experience managing social media accounts (professional or personal).
- Familiarity with platforms like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design tools.
- Basic video editing skills are a plus!
- Passion & Knowledge:
- Strong interest in politics, activism, and youth empowerment.
- Awareness of political trends and discourse.
- Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication.
- Creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
- Organisational skills and attention to detail.
