The Graduate School of Engineering at KUT offers the Special Scholarship Program (SSP), a three-year PhD program. Eligibility Criteria:

Timeline:

The application date for the second April 2026 enrollment period is October 17, 2025. Screening and interviews will take place from October to November 2025, with admission results announced in mid-December and a final registration deadline of January 9, 2026.

The first deadline for October 2026 enrollment is the same as the second April deadline, with the application due on October 17, 2025, screening in October-November 2025, results in mid-December 2025, and registration by January 9, 2026.

Applicants for the second enrollment deadline of October 2026 must apply by April 10, 2026. Screening and interviews will take place between April and May 2026, admission results will be available by mid-June 2026, and the registration deadline will be July 10, 2026.

How to Apply for the KUT Special Scholarship Program?

  1. Please use the online form to submit your complete application.
  2. Applicants are highly urged to submit their online pre-application forms to supervisors at least 8 weeks before the formal application date to allow for approval and document preparation.
  3. Before submitting a formal application, candidates must obtain approval from a supervisor listed on the SSP Supervisor List.
  4. Applicants can contact up to two supervisors by completing the Online Pre-Application Form.
  5. Only if a supervisor decides to proceed can an applicant submit a complete formal application to KUT.
  6. No supervisor approval means no application.
  7. Important: If your nominated supervisor does not answer within two weeks, your request will be considered refused.
