Fully Funded International Summer Internship in Germany! The Applications are now open for the Max Planck MPIIB Summer Internship 2026. This is a Paid Internship at the Max Planck Institute of Infection Biology in Berlin for Bachelor’s and Master’s students. Applicants from all around the world are eligible to apply. The Duration of the Internship is 3 Months. During the internship, interns will work on research projects under the supervision of scientists who have faced or are facing significant difficulties in their scientific education. The Max Planck MPIIB Summer Internship is in the fields of Biology, Medicine, Biochemistry, Epidemiology, or any other related field. All expenses are covered.

Internship Dates

The MPIIB International Summer Internship (MPIIB-ISI) at the Max Planck Institute will run from August 1 to October 31, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

• Open to all Nationals.
• Currently enrolled in a university program.
• The Internship is for international Bachelor’s and Master’s students.
• Completed at least 4 semesters (2 years) of Undergraduate studies.
• A strong academic performance in a relevant field such as biology, medicine, biochemistry, epidemiology, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the English language.
