WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Bralirwa is looking for a dynamic, results-oriented, employee-centric, and trusted HR Advisor who can drive our people functions at the Brewery in partnership with the Brewery Leadership Team. The hired candidate will be based at Rubavu and report to HR Business Partner – Supply Chain.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

  1. Shop Floor Management
  • Conduct regular Shopfloor visits to engage with staff and provide needed support
  1. Deal with Employee Relations
  • Listen to employees’ queries/requests, provide appropriate guidance, and monitor the execution of climate survey actions
  1. Support in the Coordination of performance management cycle & execution of people development plan
  • Provide guidance to Line Managers and Encourage line managers and direct reports to have regular real conversations on performance progress
  • Ensure personal development plans (PDP) are active
  1. Support in the execution of Strategic Workforce Planning
  • Support the execution of Talent Acquisition, Succession plan, and Development Plan.
  • Actively participate in the staff development process
  • In partnership with Line Managers facilitate a communication strategy
  1. HR Administration
  • Provide administrative support to the Leadership Team: Employee files, sensitive documents, attendance reports, overtime & leave management.

The job holder should have:

  • Ability to ensure confidentiality, be open-minded and respectful, ability to learn faster in a dynamic environment, and have knowledge of applying MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent negotiating and influencing skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in teams
  • Having an academic qualification (Bachelor’s degree) in HRM, Business Administration, or any other related field.
  • Hands-on experience of at least 5 to 7 years in HR-related functions or the General administration field.
  • Certified Human Resource Professional is an added advantage
  • Fluent in Kinyarwanda and English and French will be an added advantage.

Capabilities Development Coordinator at Bralirwa: (Deadline 24 March 2023)

Bralirwa Plc. Is looking for a qualified, experienced, and people-oriented Capabilities Development Coordinator, to focus on maximizing the Sales Department’s effectiveness by determining and solving Sales Representatives and Sales Manager training needs. This will be done through developing and implementing training plans throughout the year, including on-field, in-class, and through continuous feedback. The position will report directly to Sales Capabilities Development Manager.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that the sales force is properly trained through sound and effective induction programs and classroom training
  • Own and nurtures the skill and continuous development of the next generation through a robust sales onboarding program fragmented in Sales Foundation Program (SFP), Basic Sales Capability Program (BSCP) and Advance Sales Capability Program (ASCP)
  • Ensure concrete grouping of training programs to fit specific needs and purposes, particularly on a quarterly basis to maximize cost

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Sales Capability Development

  • Responsible for the development, and implementation of an all-year-round training calendar for different levels in the Regions
  • Maintain and keep updated records of all training programs and participants in the regions and their capability levels
  • Drive training and implementation of new work methods.
  • Prepare and review regional sales training program content, in conjunction with regional management.
  • Lead and roll out of AMEE Sales Academy training modules across sales function
  • Develop effective communication vehicle to ensure that the training programs are fully understood and appropriately valued by the sales channels and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure an accurate and timeline process for delivering training workshop
  • Assist in the training of facilitators to run different roll-out training programs.
  • Responsible for assessment of facilitators before training roll out for quality delivery of programs.
  • Facilitate forum for re-training sales frontline with knowledge application need within the academy facility
  • Customize, translate, and prepare the training materials to suit relevant market.
  • Ensure Sales Managers are involved in the development of Sales Executives within their supervision

Sales On Boarding and Continuous Improvement

  • Owns and drive the process of onboarding for new Sales Executives, Sales Representatives and other sales frontline roles ensuring the program is developed to equip them with relevant market skills and knowledge
  • Develop customized onboarding program for cross-functional managers coming to sales function
  • Develop and regularly update programs/procedure manuals for sales induction program
  • Design and implements inter-functional training between sales and other divisions
  • Design training materials to plug identified improvement opportunities.

Sales Force Training; Applying 70%, 20% & 10% Learning Model

  • Conduct regular infield (70%) and classroom training as per identified development gaps.
  • Coaching feedback(20%) with the Coachee
  • Impliment 70,20,10 learning model by Coaching Observation.
  • Ensure that RSM/ASM meets Coaching standards.

Training Manual Development Include Digital Literacy

  • Assist Sales Capability Manager, E-Commerce to develop digital training manuals to address opportunity gaps
  • Regularly update training manuals for consistent relevance
  • Liaise with the regional management on identified training gaps by sales role and develop a relevant manual to cover such gaps.

Implementation Of Global Sales Academy Programs

  • Initiate and execute global sales capability programs in the regions.
  • Ensure the participation of all relevant parties
  • Follow up on all relevant online programs and ensure full participation
  • Give relevant feedback on the program to the appropriate parties.

Assessment And Measuring

  • Assist the Sales Development Manager to deploy global process to improve sales competency and value selling capability of back office support teams, field sales force, distribution sales staff, trade partners, customers, and trainers
  • Execute fieldwork and regular audits, Back-check, and tracking to ensure the perfect execution and implementation of post-classroom training in the market.

Qualification And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Accounting, Social Sciences, or any other related field
  • At least 3- 5 years of working experience in commercial areas, with experience in capability building , training
  • Comprehension, knowledge and understanding of the company’s policies and human resources development philosophies & strategies
  • Fluent in English and Kinyarwanda (both verbally and in writing), and French will be an added advantage.

Revenue Manager at Bralirwa: (Deadline 24 March 2023)

Bralirwa Plc. is looking a qualified, experienced, and analytical-thinking Revenue Manager, to focus on Driving Revenue & Margin Growth mindset within the OpCo, acting as an independent RMG advisor/manager for the business, and drive the OpCo Revenue & Margin Growth agenda, aiming for constant maximization of Revenue per hectoliter and margin growth through; setting guardrails on (consumer/customer) pricing, promotions, product/customer mix and trade terms, disciplined and thorough analytics (combining internal and external data, financial and non-financial), and evaluating performance to ensure execution and continuous improvement through learnings. The perfect fit should be good at business analysis, be a quick learner and be a strategic thinker to properly support our OpCo revenue margin growth. The person will directly report to Finance Director.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the update and governance of the Revenue Margin metrics, refresh, report on pre-defined KPI’s and set up meetings with key stakeholders in order to discuss potential action plans.
  • Promotions: Shape and govern how we track promotion performance (uplift, ROI) using promo analytics tools and set mandatory promo guardrails by brand.  Report performance on monthly basis in Team Meetings. Seek for opportunities to improve ROI and optimize overall promo spend.
  • Support and validate annual trade terms exercise and connect with financial control, Sales Managers and Category Management. Evaluate the conditionality of Discounts and Trade Terms.
  • Shape our pricing reviews to identify potential RM benefits (based on RM analytics, macroeconomic trends, market intelligence, etc) and help set guardrails on customer pricing, promo, trade terms, and mix execution
  • Brand Portfolio Pricing & Pack-Price Architecture: Advise the business on the setting of target recommended selling prices, conduct white space analytics, and translate optimal recommended selling prices (RRP) to product list price.
  • Mix: Analyse current mix performance, identify mix opportunities, support prioritization of product mix based on profitability-potential analytics, help set product mix allocation and track execution.
  • Support our continuous RMG improvement cycle and develop colleagues within the Commercial Functions on RMG topics/tools
  • Support continuous improvement of RMG content & processes

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Conduct regular reviews and analytics identify potential RMG benefits, gaps, etc (based on RMG analytics, macroeconomic trends, market intelligence, etc) and set guardrails and follow up on customer pricing, promo, trade terms, and mix execution.
  • Responsible for setting and continuous tracking of RM objectives within OpCo business strategy
  • Drive continuous RMG improvement cycle
  • Support other functions within the OpCo on RMG topics & processes
  • Own revenue financial accounts, reporting, and revenue inputs during planning cycles

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies: Finance, Economics, Business Analysis, Statistics, Sales, or any other related field
  • At least years 5+ working experience in commercial areas, finance or revenue management, preferably in an FMCG industry
  • Industry experience with demonstration of analytic and information-driven problem solving
  • Preferably have experience with Power BI
  • Fluent in English (verbally and in writing), and competencies in French and Kinyarwanda is an added preference

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Good and proven knowledge of Microsoft Software: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Have knowledge of Finance and Accounting Principles
  • Very strong analytical skills with ability to distil large amounts of data into actionable insights.
  • Understanding of consumer and shopper insights/ knowledge of marketing concepts
  • Ability to visually present analysis, key insights, facts & figures in a compelling way; tailor content to audience
  • Proven experience in managing change and implementing new processes into the business.
