310 Job Positions at City of Kigali: (Deadline 5 May 2025)

JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

The City of Kigali wishes to inform all interested and eligible candidates that it is recruiting three hundred and ten (310) individuals to serve as members of the District Administration Security Support Organ (DASSO), to support district authorities in maintaining public order. The distribution of vacancies is as follows: Gasabo District (100), Kicukiro District (103), and Nyarugenge District (107).

To qualify for DASSO recruitment, an applicant must meet the following requirements:

1. Be a Rwandan citizen;

2. Apply voluntarily;

3. Be at least 18 years old and not older than 25;

4. Be of good conduct and moral integrity;

5. Have no criminal record of a conviction resulting in imprisonment of six months or more in a final judgment;

6. Hold at least an Advanced Level Certificate of Secondary Education (A2) or an equivalent qualification;

7. Be in good physical and mental health, certified by a government-approved medical doctor;

8. Have never been dismissed or terminated from public service;

9. Successfully pass the DASSO recruitment examination.

Required Application Documents:

1. A written application letter addressed to the Mayor of the City of Kigali, specifying one preferred district (Gasabo, Kicukiro, or Nyarugenge);

2. A copy of the national identity card;

3. A copy of the academic certificate;

4. A medical certificate from a government-recognized doctor confirming physical fitness;

5. A certificate of good conduct issued by the Sector (Umurenge) of residence.
