Following our successful operations and established market leadership in Uganda, the Gold Wolf Limited is now expanding its business into the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Côte d’Ivoire. We are looking for elite bilingual professionals to join us at this pivotal stage of our growth.
The role: Executive Liaison & Personal Interpreter
As an executive interpreter, you will assist the managing director/business manager during our market entry and project setup phases. This high-visibility role requires mobility, discretion and sharp business acumen.
Key responsibilities:
- Executive accompaniment: Provide one-to-one ‘shadow’ interpretation for the Principal in all business meetings, government liaison and field inspections.
- Strategic communication: Bridge the gap between management, French-speaking local authorities and English-speaking international partners.
- Business support: Translate and manage sensitive documents, including contracts, tender documents and regulatory filings.
- Market entry assistance: Help clients to navigate local business cultures and establish new operational bases in the DRC or Côte d’Ivoire.
Job requirements:
- Language mastery: Near-native fluency in French. A strong command of business English is required for international negotiations. Fluency in Mandarin Chinese would be a significant advantage.
- Ready for mobilization: You must hold a valid passport and be able to deploy immediately.
- Profile: High emotional intelligence (EQ), excellent professional presentation, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
