Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) is an international, non-profitable, non-governmental humanitarian relief organization with its head quarter in Birmingham, UK. It enjoys consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations and is a signatory to the Code of Conduct for International Red Cross and red Crescent Moments and NGOs in Disaster Relief.
The Pharmacists will have the following responsibilities:
- The pharmacist is in charge of the main store, all medical facilities, and the safe and appropriate storage and distribution of medications and medical equipment.
- In addition to being the clinic’s receptionist, the pharmacist is in charge of registering each patient who enters the facility.
Ensure that no medication is abused. Ensure open record-keeping and transparent issuance. - The pharmacist is in charge of all medications entering and leaving the clinic. They are also accountable for the quantity, quality, and expiration dates of all medications.
- Determine and report issues that impede the provision of services.
- Make sure that all medications and other medical supplies are stored in hygienic, safe, and appropriate conditions.
- Participate in meetings for coordination concerning pharmaceutical matters.
- Create quarterly and monthly activity reports for the medical doctor and program coordinator.
