Job responsibilities

Under the supervision of Youth Center Coordinator, the Lab Technician will conduct all Lab testing related activities including comprehensive HIV testing, pregnancy test and other SRH testing to youth in accordance with Ministry of Health/RBC guidelines. He/she will be focusing on the following duties • Test all samples submitted by the counsellors according to LNR algorithm and give results back to counsellors • Respect confidentiality • Prepare and submit the requisition of Lab tests kits to Rwanda Medical Supply (RMS) • Respect universal measures of laboratory safety • Produce report of VCT test kits and consumables, and submit orders • Perform any other related tasks assigned by his supervisor

Job responsibilities

Under the supervision of SPIU Coordinator, the individual is responsible for the overall coordination of the center’s activities, supervises assigned staff and engage relevant stakeholders for proper centre development and delivery. He/she will be focusing on the following duties • To coordinate all activities of youth friendly center. • To represent the Youth friendly center in all activities at Sector and District level. • To ensure funds mobilization for the center’s activities • To ensure the efficient mobilization and sensitization of youth • To ensure the effective use of funds, documents and equipment/materials of center. • To supervise and coordinate youth center staff. • To conduct monitoring and evaluation of activities at the level of the community. • To prepare different reports and ensure that they are submitted to the concerned authorities. • To collaborate with local authorities, other partners and all implementing agencies to empower young people. • Ensure development partners are well engaged in Youth center activities

VCT Council at District Level at Ministry of youth (MINIYOUTH): (Deadline 15 January 2025)

Job responsibilities

Under the supervision of Youth Center Coordinator, the VCT Counsellor will be to conduct all VCT related activities including youth mobilisation through IEC and BCC sessions, comprehensive VCT and SRH services to youth in accordance with Ministry of Health/RBC guidelines. He/she will be focusing on the following duties • Ensure that all materials and consumables needed for VCT are regularly available. • Ensure laboratory and data quality control • Ensure Family Planning (FP) integration in VCT activities • Apply all policies, measures, procedures and protocols relevant to VCT services • Prepare weekly and monthly reports of VCT activities, following guidance from the VCT from RBC/HIV division. • Provide comprehensive VCT and SRH services (HIV, Pregnancy Tests, STI screening, FP and VMMC) in a friendly and confidential manner • Refer and follow all HIV positive clients to the health facilities • Refer all clients who reported having an STI’s symptoms to the health facilities • Refer all uncircumcised men tested HIV negative and who are interested in • Complete all relevant data collection tools • Plan and organize outreach activities and other related youth mobilization campaigns • Perform any other related tasks assigned by his supervisor

• Produce accurate and high-quality captures of the ministry’s activities in video, photographic, or audio content for use across various platforms (broadcast, digital…); • Curating the creative display of stories of impact in videos, photographic or audio format for public and stakeholders engagements; • Perform custom and specialized photography in-house or on location using a variety of filming and photographic equipment; camera setting, lighting requirements and other specifications to ensure quality production of content on various platforms channels; • Produce, direct and edit documentaries or any required audio-visual productions for ministry and projects’ communication activities; • Assist with media duplications: copy DVDs, print DVD faces, transfer multi- platform tape to DVD, encode video files, etc; • Assume additional responsibilities as assigned
