Role and Responsibilities
Customer Engagement and Relationship Building
The sales representative is responsible for greeting customers, understanding their needs, and building relationships to foster trust. This includes answering questions about vehicle features, prices, financing options, and promotions, ensuring a personalized and positive experience.
Product Knowledge and Presentation
Sales reps must possess in-depth knowledge of the vehicles available, including specifications, performance, safety features, and financing options. They demonstrate vehicles, explain their benefits, and help customers compare models to make informed purchasing decisions.
Lead Generation and Follow-Up
Sales representatives actively prospect for new customers, whether through online leads, referrals, phone calls, or networking. They also follow up with previous customers, reminding them of offers, maintenance services, or new vehicle arrivals to encourage repeat business.
Negotiation and Closing Sales
A key responsibility is negotiating pricing and terms with customers. Sales reps must work within the dealership’s policies to close deals, explaining financing options, and ensuring the customer is satisfied with the final deal.
Administrative Duties and Sales Reporting
Sales reps are tasked with completing all necessary paperwork related to the sale, including contractsThey also update customer records in the dealership’s CRM system and provide regular sales reports to management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven track record of at least three years of experience in marketing or sales, preferably in the automobile industry.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and building long-term partnerships.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and business requirements.
- Valid Rwandan Driving License (Category B)
- Below 35 years old.
