Applications are open for the African Union EAN Fellowship Programme 2024. The African Union MSME Forum stands out as the largest and most significant gathering dedicated to fostering the growth and development of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) across the African continent. In its latest endeavor, the forum is set to launch its inaugural cohort fellowship program, marking a pivotal moment in its commitment to empowering and supporting innovative small businesses. This comprehensive fellowship initiative aims to provide participating enterprises with a robust array of resources and support mechanisms. Foremost among these are opportunities to secure essential funding, gain invaluable mentorship from seasoned industry leaders, and access strategic markets pivotal for expansion and sustainability. Beyond financial and advisory assistance, the fellowship program will also foster a collaborative environment where entrepreneurs can network, share insights, and forge partnerships with like-minded peers and potential investors. The MSME Forum has three-facet objectives, namely:
- Enhance the capacity of MSMEs through training sessions on various topics offered by training partners;
- Establish a platform for policymakers and the private sector to interact, share knowledge, and formulate innovative proposals to bridge the financial gap for MSMEs and start-ups in Africa; and
- Facilitate regional and continental collaboration between private and public sector institutions, and financial entities, including local banks and multilateral development financial institutions, in supporting MSMEs.

Eligibility for EAN Fellowship Programme
- Open to registered MSME operating in Africa. Minimum of 2 years in operation.
- Active in one of the eligible sectors:

- Manufacturing
- ICT
- Demonstrated potential for growth & job creation.
