The American University of Nigeria (AUN), Yola, is offering scholarships to young students in Nigeria and other African countries in celebration of its 20th anniversary.

The scholarship is a welcome development that aims at motivating young Nigerians to choose to earn their first degree in their home country before seeking to further their education abroad.

 

Eligibility Requirements for American University of Nigeria Scholarship 2024

To be considered for the American University of Nigeria Scholarship 2024, you must:

  • possess a minimum Jamb score of 160 or JAMB’s yearly official cut-off score to be considered for admission at AUN.
  • five (5) credits, including English Language and Mathematics, on no more than two SSCE sittings, or an equivalent from a country that requires other types of exit exams or standardized tests.
  • Graduate applicant must be a graduate of a recognized university with an average grade point average (CGPA) of not less than 3.0 on a 5.0 maximum CGPA (or Second Class Lower Division).
  • Each applicant is expected to have a minimum of one year of work experience, preferably at the mid-level or senior management level.
