Degree Level

Kazakhstan Government Scholarship 2025 for International Students (Fully Funded) is available to undertake Bachelor, Masters, PhD level programs at Kazakhstan Universities.

Scholarship Quota for 2025

1. Bachelor’s Degree: 490 scholarships
2. Master’s Degree: 50 scholarships
3. PhD (Doctoral Degree): 10 scholarships

Eligibility Criteria

For Bachelor’s Degree Applicants

1. Must be applying for the first time at the undergraduate level.
2. Must provide a copy of a valid ID or refugee certificate.
3. A high school certificate with at least a “good” average grade.
4. Motivational essay in Kazakh, Russian, or English.
5. Two letters of recommendation from educational institutions or employers.
6. Medical certificates, including an HIV/AIDS test report.
7. Notarized translation of academic documents if not in Kazakh, Russian, or English.

For Master’s Degree Applicants

1. Must be applying for the first time at the postgraduate level.
2. A Bachelor’s or Specialist diploma with a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 or equivalent.
3. A motivational essay and two letters of recommendation.
4. Medical certification and HIV/AIDS test.
5. Proof of foreign language proficiency, such as:

TOEFL iBT (min. 46)

IELTS Academic (min. 5.5)

TestDaF / DSH (German)

DELF / DALF / TFI / TCF (French)

HSK Level 4 (Chinese)

Note: Language certificates are not required for students from countries where the official or previous language of study matches the language of instruction.

For PhD (Doctoral) Applicants

1. A Master’s or Specialist diploma with a GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 or equivalent.
2. Motivational essay, two recommendations, and medical documentation.
3. Foreign language certificate as listed above.
4. Justification for the dissertation topic in Kazakh, Russian, or English.
