Apply to Host a 2025–2026 Lazord Fellow: Empower Young Leaders While Advancing Your Mission: (Deadline June 16, 2025)

Background

The Lazord Fellowship is a transformative regional initiative designed to cultivate responsible leadership among young graduates through real-world work placements and intensive training. Established in 2010 with its inaugural program in Egypt, the fellowship has since expanded to Jordan, Tunisia, and Greece. By combining professional experience with mentorship and civic engagement, the Lazord Fellowship nurtures a new generation of socially conscious professionals.

Each year, a select group of fellows is placed within organizations across the region for a one-year term. These host organizations play a crucial role in shaping the fellows’ leadership journey while benefiting from their talents and enthusiasm. The Lazord Fellowship is now inviting applications from eligible organisations interested in hosting a fellow for the 2025–2026 cycle.

Opportunity Details: What Is It?

The Lazord Fellowship is a year-long program that places selected young professionals—referred to as fellows—in local organizations across Egypt, Jordan, Tunisia, and Greece. These fellows bring energy, creativity, and a strong desire to create social impact. In return, they receive mentorship, training, and professional development through the Lazord network.

Host organisations have the opportunity to work closely with a highly motivated young graduate, while also becoming part of a regional network committed to civic engagement and leadership development.

    •  Support the fellow’s personal, professional, and educational development.
    • Provide on-the-job coaching and be available for guidance.
