CALL FOR APPLICATION FOR BUSINESS TRAINING FOR PEOPLE WITH ART SKILLS (Deadline : 24 January 2022)

IKIRENGA Art and Culture Promotion as NGO in partnership with the Rwanda Institute of Cooperatives, Entrepreneurship and Microfinance (RICEM) are empowering youth in the field of art with creative and technical skills through TWIGIRE project, a two weeks project funded by IKIRENGA ACP and RICEM in two districts (Musanze and Nyarugenge).

This project will create a platform for collaboration among the youth, promote self-employment, and boost their income generation skills from the created jobs/enterprises. The project is planned to reach 100 unemployed youth in need of creative, practical business skills, and believe in self-employment with an interest in joining the art industry.

As such, IKIRENGA Art and Culture Promotion calls upon interested candidates/trainees who can be able to attend the training for the two weeks in MUSANZE and NYARUGENGE Districts to apply. Amazingly, the training will be free of charge.

The training will take place from 26^th January 2022 to 04^th February 2022

Eligibility Criteria

Be a youth with art skills, these can be Photography, Videography, Drawing, Painting, Sculpting, Printmaking, Music Composition, Dancing, Acting, Poetry, Scriptwriting, Calligraphy, Filmmaking, etc.
Be unemployed or willing to be self-employed
Be able to attend the training in Musanze or Nyarugenge District
