The Cambridge Africa Mentorship Programme (CAMP) is an initiative by the African Society of Cambridge University (ASCU), designed to support prospective African postgraduate applicants to the University of Cambridge. Now in its upcoming cycle for 2025, CAMP connects applicants with experienced mentors—current students and alumni—who offer tailored, one-on-one guidance throughout the admissions process.
CAMP is open to individuals of African nationality or heritage who are considering applying for a postgraduate course at the University of Cambridge in the upcoming admissions cycle.
What the Program Offers
- One-on-One Mentorship
Mentees are paired with a current Cambridge student or alumni who provides support tailored to their background and academic interests. - Admissions Guidance
Learn about course selection, writing competitive personal statements, academic CVs, and preparing for interviews. - Peer Support Network

Eligibility Criteria
To apply as a mentee, you must:
- Be of African nationality or descent
- Intend to apply for postgraduate study (Master’s or PhD) at the University of Cambridge in the 2025–2026 cycle
- Be able to commit to the mentorship program from August to December 2025
- Demonstrate academic motivation and a clear sense of purpose
