Eligibility Criteria:

In order to be considered for the UBC Human Rights Summit 2026 in Canada (fully funded), applicants must:

  • All citizens of any nation are welcome to apply for this summit in Canada.
  • Age Requirements: 18+ for the Observer Category, 16-35 for the Fully Funded Category
  • A strong commitment to social change is required, as is participation in educational and social initiatives or a well-defined change vision.
  • A passport is necessary, but if you don’t have one, a national ID will do.
  • Neither the TOEFL nor IELTS is required.
