Eligible Nationalities

This scholarship is open to all non-Chinese citizens from any country who meet the eligibility requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Nationality: Must be a non-Chinese citizen in good health.
• Age Limit:

 

1. Master’s applicants: Under 35 years old
2. Doctoral applicants: Under 40 years old

 

• Scholarship Restrictions: Applicants must not be holding any other Chinese Government Scholarship simultaneously.
• Academic Background: Must possess a Bachelor’s degree (for Master’s) or a Master’s degree (for Doctoral).

Application Process

Follow these two steps carefully to complete your application:

Step 1: Apply on CSC Portal

 

• Visit www.campuschina.org
• Program Category: Type B
• Agency Number: 10246 (Fudan University)
• Complete the form, print, and sign your CSC application form.

 

Step 2: Apply on Fudan University Portal

 

• Go to https://istudent.fudan.edu.cn/apply
• Select “Self-support” as your funding source.
• Choose “Chinese Government Scholarship” and upload your signed CSC application form.
• Upload all required documents including:

 

 

1. Foreigner Physical Examination Form (valid for 6 months)
2. Academic transcripts and diplomas
3. Research proposal or study plan
4. Two recommendation letters
5. Passport copy

 

Important Note: You can only apply to one university under Category B scholarships.

Result Announcement

Results will be posted on the International Students Office (ISO) website:

 

 https://iso.fudan.edu.cn/isoenglish/ under the “Notices” section.

Important Notes

Scholarship holders must register on the specified date mentioned in the Admission Notice.

Annual performance evaluation is mandatory.

Students cannot change their major or duration of study once admitted.

Holding multiple scholarships may lead to disqualification and refund of funds received.
