Applications are open for the Climate Action and Disaster Risk Reduction Fellowship Program 2025. The Climate Action and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Fellowship Program is a transformative 12-week journey designed to empower 150–200 young changemakers across the Arab States.
As climate challenges and disaster risks escalate in the region, this hybrid fellowship stands as a bold call to action for youth-driven solutions. Through immersive learning, real-world innovation labs, and hands-on community engagement, the program equips young leaders with the tools and resources to build a resilient, sustainable future.
The program includes:
- Four dynamic phases: Foundational Learning, Innovation Living Lab, Hackathon for Climate Solutions, and Sustainable Impact through Funding.
- Expert-led sessions blending online learning and interactive workshops.
- Real-world innovation guided by human-centered design and community collaboration.
- Mentorship, funding, and long-term support for promising initiatives.
- Opportunities for youth-led organizations and young expert mentors to contribute and collaborate.
Cost
- The program is free of charge for selected participants. Training, mentorship, and materials are all provided at no cost.
- There will be a Hackathon. The Hackathon will be held offline, and selected participants will receive support to attend.
