How can you make a difference?
- Management of information on activities and providing administrative & programme support to communication, advocacy, and partnerships (CAP), and Social and Behaviour Change Communication (SBC) sections.
- Support in research, compilation, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data and preparation and editing of factual social media posts and updating the UNICEF Rwanda website, documents, and presentations.
- Write human interest stories to support publication on UNICEF digital platforms.
- Establish and maintain physical and electronic filing system.
- Maintenance of media and key stakeholder database and content gathering.
- Provide necessary support to the section and the implementing partners on the HACT (Harmonized Approach to Cash Transfers)
- Contribute to the capacity assessment and training of partners on related administrative and financial rules and procedures where required.
- Assist the two sections in programme budget monitoring.
- Monitoring project/programme activities and contract management process for implementing and private sector partners.
- Providing administrative support in the organization of special events, seminars, and workshops.
- Identification of creative agencies (photography, videography, graphic designing, animations, etc.) and editors, and ensure long-term agreements (LTA) are in place.
- Follow-up with the Operations on supply and non-supply assistance activities to government and other partners.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
Minimum requirements:
- Education: Completion of secondary education, supplemented by technical or university courses.
- Work Experience: A minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible administrative, logistical or clerical work and communication-related work experience is required.
Or A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized academic institution in Communications, Public Relations or International Development/Social Sciences with 3 years of practical work experience in communication, programme operational activities, print/broadcast/digital media, and administrative work.
Language Requirements: Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda required. Knowledge of French is an added value
Desirables:
- Knowledge of international development and child rights issues.
- Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency.
