TENDER TITLE: Construction of hand washing stations in Karongi, Gisagara, and Nyanza Districts.
Actionaid Rwanda (AAR) is an Associate member of Actionaid Federation involved in community development, by addressing the structural causes of poverty but mainly dealing with issues related to public quality education, women’s rights, sustainable agriculture, justice and democratic governance with a focus of tackling the root causes of poverty. AAR has a vision of empowering women and girls to be able to challenge and overcome all forms of violence and abuse and they enjoy their economic and social lives.
In this regard, Actionaid Rwanda hereby invites national tenders for the construction of hand washing stations in Karongi (Murundi & Gitesi sectors), Nyanza (Rwabicuma and Busasamana Sectors) and Gisagara (Kibilizi and Gishubi Sectors) Districts. Participation to the competition is open on equal conditions to all companies or enterprises specialized in the field with a valid construction license.
The Tender Document may be obtained from the Public Procurement Authority Office in ACTION AID Head Office Remera behind Amahoro Stadium, Next to RSSB Building with ZIGAMA CSS BANK and RGB from 30th /July /2020 upon presentation of a prepaid bank slip of a non-refundable fee of Ten thousand Rwanda francs (10,000 Rwf) or the equivalent in a freely convertible currency deposited to the account N0: 00040004309762 in Bank of Kigali (BK) Of Actionaid Rwanda.
Compulsory site visit will be done on 05/08/2020, for lot 1 would be facilitated by ActionAid staff and Sectors staffs, the visiting team will meet from ActionAid’s office in Karongi district located in Rubengera Sector on Rutsiro road near Centre Ubucuti at 10:00am.
Compulsory site visit will be done on 06/08/2020, for lot 2 would be facilitated by ActionAid staff and Sectors staffs, the visiting team will meet from Gisagara district office at 10:00am.
Compulsory site visit will be done on 07/08/2020, for lot 3 would be facilitated by ActionAid staff and Sectors staffs, the visiting team will meet from ActionAid’s office in Nyanza Office located near the Busasamana sector office at 10:00am.
Well printed bids written in English language, properly bound and presented one original copy must reach, in sealed envelope, the Management of ActionAid-Rwanda, at the latest 14/8/2020 at 10:30 a.m. local time, accompanied by a bid guarantee of Two Hundred Five hundred thousand Rwandan francs (250,000 Rwf) or the equivalent in a freely convertible currency, issued by a reputable bank or a registered insurance company. Late bids will be rejected.
The opening of the bids will take place in a public session on the same day 14/8/2020 at 11:00 a.m. prompt local time, at Actionaid Head office in Remera, Next to RSSB building with ZIGAMA CSS Bank.
NB : One bidder is allowed to bid for only one Lot.
