REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP)
Subject: Consultancy Services for Training provision
1.GENERAL BACKGROUND
COPEDU PLC is a Public Limited Company licensed by the National Bank of Rwanda to operate as a Microfinance Institution. It is registered with the Office of the Registrar General under Company Code 100544626 and headquartered at P.O. Box 4053, Kigali.
COPEDU PLC invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified, experienced, and self-motivated companies to provide professional training services to its Board of Directors.
- OBJECTIVE OF THE ASSIGNMENT
The overall objective of this assignment is to deliver high-quality training sessions tailored to the needs of the institution. The training content must align with COPEDU PLC’s organizational and strategic priorities.
Interested companies must demonstrate their qualifications to deliver training services to financial institutions by submitting the following:
- A brief technical proposal outlining their understanding of the assignment
- A company profile
- Staff qualifications and expertise in provisional of trainings
- 2 Evidence of previous or ongoing similar assignments (e.g., completion certificates or contracts)
- Validity of proposal should be 90 days and above
Training Topics:
- Corporate Governance (2 days)
- Risk Management (2 days)
The training sessions will be provided to a group of 10 participants. Please note that venue and refreshments should not be included in the financial proposal.
3. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Interested firms must submit the following documents:
- Company or trainer profile
- Course outline and training methodology
- Evidence of relevant experience and references from similar assignments
- Financial proposal in Rwandan Francs (inclusive of all applicable taxes)
- Proposed training schedule
- Valid eligibility documents including:
- Tax clearance certificate (RRA)
- RSSB clearance certificate
- RDB registration certificate
- SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
All proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the COPEDU PLC Head Office not later
than:Monday,29th,September,2025 at 10:00 AM
Late submissions will not be considered.
Proposal opening will take place on the same day at 10:30 AM, in the presence of applicants who wish to attend.
- SELECTION PROCESS
Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Relevant experience
- Technical methodology and approach
- Cost-effectiveness
