
CREDO Internship Programme 2025: (Deadline: 25 August, 2025)
CREDO is pleased to announce the eighth cycle of its prestigious internship programme and invites applications from highly motivated Master’s students from around the world. This opportunity is open to students both inside and outside the field of public and cultural diplomacy, offering a unique platform to gain hands-on experience in international cultural relations.
The CREDO Internship Programme is designed to provide students with a broad and immersive learning experience, covering diverse areas such as:

Research and analysis

Partnership building with local and global stakeholders
-
Project management and evaluation
-
Communication and dissemination in collaboration with both local and international actors
From day one, interns become an integral part of CREDO’s team, participating actively in decision-making, contributing to strategic planning, and engaging in the centre’s daily operations.
In addition to assigned tasks, interns are encouraged to pursue personal projects, initiatives, or collaborations that align with their academic and professional interests. This approach not only enhances their internship experience but also deepens their understanding of international cultural relations and diplomacy.
Tasks and Roles
Research and Information
As a CREDO intern, you will:

Assist in organising seminars, conferences, and events promoted by CREDO

Research and establish partnerships with organisations relevant to CREDO’s initiatives
-
Coordinate and publish blog posts from partners, researchers, and relevant institutions
-
Support the development of CREDO’s research activities, including:
-
Interdepartmental cooperation groups
-
Co-creational jam sessions
-
Cultural practice and engagement seminars
-
Other special projects and events
-
Dissemination and Communication
The internship also focuses on communication and outreach, where you will:

Assist in managing and updating CREDO’s website
-
Meet with students, researchers, practitioners, and applicants to discuss CREDO’s work and explore collaboration opportunities

Maintain ongoing contact with individuals and organisations by:
-
Adding them to the CREDO network
-
Reviewing their work
-
Connecting them with relevant actors or initiatives
-

Engage with CREDO’s advisory and management board members through periodic conversations, and write related blog posts when needed
Regular Support and Team Participation
CREDO values collaboration, and interns are expected to:

Actively participate in weekly management meetings, contributing ideas and taking part in collective decision-making
-
Liaise with the Senior Project Manager and Project Coordinator on key strategic and operational matters
Requirements
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
-
Be enrolled in a Master’s degree programme
-
Be familiar with mailing list tools
-
Have an excellent command of written and spoken professional English
-
Possess strong organisational skills and autonomy
-
Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork skills
-
Be willing to use CREDO’s website management platform
-
Be predominantly based in Siena for the internship duration (to ensure regular participation in in-person activities)
-
Knowledge of Italian is an asset but not a requirement
