Applications are open for the D4D Hub Creative Economy Challenge & Award 2025. The Creative Economy Challenge & Award is a new initiative launched as part of Moonshot by TechCabal 2025, in collaboration with the Digital for Development (D4D) Hub. It is designed to spotlight bold and innovative startups and organisations operating at the intersection of creativity, technology, and entrepreneurship in West Africa and beyond.

- Invitation by D4D Hub to travel and stay in Lagos to attend Moonshot and pitch your project on 15th October.
- Access to win from a $30,000 prize money pool for the 3 finalists ($15,000 / $10,000 / $5,000).
- Investor exposure facilitated by D4D Hub and TechCabal – Visibility at Moonshot 2025 among tech leaders, donors, and policymakers shaping Africa’s creative digital future.
Eligibility
- Open to West-African startup or organisation already developing a project or initiative.
- They are especially looking for tech-enabled and digitally developed project/product offerings with demonstrable traction, team capacity, and long-term creative and economic impact.
