Eligibility Criteria
- Degree Stage: You should be either a final-year undergraduate student or a first-year Master’s student by the summer of 2025.
- Field of Study: You must have completed at least three years of Undergraduate studies in physics, a related natural science discipline, or computing.
- Master’s Degree: Applicants who have already completed a Master’s degree or will have completed one by summer 2025 are not eligible.
- Applicants enrolled in a Master’s program can apply.
- You should not have previously participated in a DESY summer student program.

- Transcript of records (showing credit points, grades, etc.)
- Two Reference Letters
- If you are not from an EU or EEA country, you will need a work permit to participate in the DESY Summer Student Program. Please submit the following documents in a single PDF file:
- Copy of International Passport
- Certificate of Enrollment: This document must be issued by your university and cover the entire program period, from the beginning of July to mid-September 2024.
- Declaration of Certificate of Enrollment: This mandatory document must be signed and stamped by your university and cover the same period as the Certificate of Enrollment. Please refer to the provided link for the specific form. (Get the Certificate from here).
