Executive Assistant at Commonwealth: (Deadline 11 December 2023)
We have an excellent opportunity for an Executive Assistant to work within our Economic, Youth and Sustainable Development Directorate (EYSD).
The Executive Assistant provides secretarial as well as programme support for the Senior Director EYSD, through supporting their participation and engagement with high-level meetings and events; preparing internal and external communication, facilitating telephone contact, maintaining records, managing the diary and arranging travel programmes. The successful candidate will support the organisation of events, relevant programme activities and preparation of presentations as required.
To be considered for this opportunity you will need a Degree in any field or an equivalent technical, professional or academic qualification in administration or a related subject, as well as at least three years of experience in a similar type of work, working for a senior manager or executive.
The Commonwealth is a voluntary association of 56 member governments and provides guidance on policy making, technical assistance and advisory services to Commonwealth member countries. We support governments to help achieve sustainable, inclusive and equitable development.
