Field Inclusive Travel Awards 2025 – $2000 Funding for Students in the U.S. to Attend Conferences & Workshops: (Deadline 1 April, 2025)
The Field Inclusive Travel Awards provide financial support to students at the undergraduate, master’s, doctoral, or postdoctoral level, enabling them to attend a scientific conference, training, or workshop. The award helps cover travel expenses, ensuring that students with financial need can access valuable academic and professional opportunities.
Now Accepting Applications! One Field Inclusive Travel Award of $2,000 will be granted for travel in Summer 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Field Inclusive Travel Award, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Education Level: Open to undergraduate, master’s, doctoral, and postdoctoral students.
- Institution: Applicants must be attending an institution in the United States.
- International Students: Eligible only if they attend a U.S. institution and have a U.S. bank account.
- Travel Location: Travel must take place within the U.S.
- Award Frequency: Each applicant can only receive one Field Inclusive Travel Award in their lifetime.
- Other Travel Awards: This award cannot be combined with a travel award from another organization.
- Commitment: Upon completion of travel, awardees must provide:
- A photograph
- A 500-2000 word write-up on how the award supported their experience (to be featured on Field Inclusive’s webpage)
- Additional requirements may be requested by sponsors
- Possible participation in a future #FieldInclusiveWeek event

Application Process
Interested applicants must follow these steps:
- Become a Member: Applicants must be current members of Field Inclusive before applying.
- Complete the Application Form:
- Fill out the Google Form (linked below).
- Upload a one-page essay explaining financial need and how this award will help them.
- Include a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) statement.
- If Awarded:
- Submit a PDF of the accepted conference/workshop abstract or an email confirmation of acceptance.
