Aim and Benefits of Aurora Women in STEM Scholarship
There will be one scholarship of $2,000 awarded each year whilst funding is available.
Payment will be made in two instalments after the census date of each semester.
Requirements for Aurora Women in STEM Scholarship Qualification
The scholarship recipient must
- be female; and
- be commencing the first year of one of the University’s Bachelor of Science courses; and
- be normally enrolled full time at Flinders University; and
- be enrolled in PHYS1101 (or completed PHYS1101 in Semester 1, 2025)
- have been admitted to course on the basis of an ATAR.
Scholarships are available to part-time students in exceptional circumstances, which includes (but is not limited to) disability, illness or carer responsibilities. Part-time scholarship recipients will receive the same annual value as full-time scholarship recipients.
Interview date, Process and Venue for Aurora Women in STEM Scholarship
The scholarship will be awarded on academic merit (ATAR). If there is more than one student sharing the highest ATAR, results in specific school subjects will be taken into consideration.
Scholarship selection will be made in accordance with approved procedures.
