Job Overview

The Front of House Coordinator with a Specialism in Coffee, Cocktails, Wines, and Champagnes plays a pivotal role in elevating Sambora Kinigi’s food and beverage experience. This role requires expertise in beverage service, including sommelier-level wine knowledge, cocktail artistry, and coffee preparation. The coordinator will also actively support the broader FOH service delivery, ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience throughout the dining journey.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Welcome and Experience

  • Greet guests warmly, offering bespoke welcome drinks or curated coffee experiences.
  • Deliver exceptional beverage service, showcasing expertise in coffee, cocktails, wines, and champagnes.
  • Provide insightful recommendations to guests, aligning with their preferences.

Beverage Specialization

  • Prepare and serve artisanal coffee, expertly crafted cocktails, and curated wine and champagne selections.
  • Guide guests through beverage pairings to enhance their dining experience.
  • Manage the lodge’s wine and spirits inventory, ensuring high-quality offerings and presentation.

Front of House Service Support

  • Assist in ensuring smooth FOH operations, including table assignments, service flow, and guest interactions.
  • Collaborate with the FOH team to maintain consistency in service standards across all dining and lounge areas.
  • Step in as needed to support team members with food service, guest inquiries, and special requests.

Table Service Coordination

  • Oversee table assignments and reservations to optimize guest flow and service efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and host team to ensure timely and accurate service.
  • Supervise the presentation and setup of dining and beverage service areas.

Guest Support and Engagement

  • Address guest inquiries and special requests, providing tailored solutions.
  • Handle guest feedback professionally, aiming to exceed expectations.

Collaboration and Leadership

  • Work closely with the host and F&B team to create a harmonious service atmosphere.
  • Assist in training team members on beverage service standards and techniques.

Cleanliness and Organization

  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of all beverage and dining areas.
  • Conduct quality checks on equipment and maintain compliance with hygiene standards.

Qualifications

Education and Certification

  • Certification as a sommelier or in wine and cocktail service (WSET, CMS, or equivalent).
  • Barista certification or demonstrated proficiency in specialty coffee preparation.

Experience

  • Proven experience of minimum 2 years in a luxury hospitality setting, specializing in beverage service.
  • Expertise in creating and serving cocktails, selecting and pairing wines, and brewing premium coffee.
