Full Funded Scholarship of Masters in Health and International Development programme to Study in UK, London (Deadline: 27 April 2020 )
The London School of Economics and Political Science invites students to apply for the Wellcome Award MSc in Health and International Development Scholarships for the academic session 2020/21. The MSc in Health and International Development program will recognize one outstanding student every year and award a full scholarship to one student per year, for 3 years, an entry in 2019, 2020 and 2021. The Wellcome Trust is the funder of this scholarship which will support the very best students seeking a career in health-related social science research.
What does the scholarship cover?
The scholarship value is a maximum of £31,088. Moreover, the scholarship will cover the full fees for the program and the remainder can be used for living costs. he amount remaining for living costs will vary depending on fee classification. For either a UK or EU fee candidate the stipend will be £17,000 for an overseas fee candidate it will be £9,344. Furthermore, scholarship recipients will also be able to apply for up to £ 3,333 for research funding to support their dissertation research.
Who can apply?
The Wellcome Award MSc in Health and International Development scholarships is open to all the applicants who apply to study MSc in the Health and International Development program at the London School of Economics. The scholarship team will make their decision depending upon the academic merit and financial need of the applicant.
Who are eligible?
- To be eligible for the scholarship, candidates must submit an application for the program (See how to apply for graduate study at LSE).
- In addition to that, candidates must submit the Graduate Financial Support Application Form via the Graduate application tracker including completing Section G: Personal Statement.
- Furthermore, candidates must hold an offer letter(conditional or unconditional) from the course program.
