The Global Korea Scholarship – Undergraduate (GKS-U) is a prestigious, fully funded scholarship provided by the Korean Government through NIIED, designed to support international students pursuing bachelor’s and associate degree programs in South Korea.

Application Tracks & Deadlines
There are two application routes:
- Embassy Track: Submit your application via the Korean Embassy in your country.

- University Track: Apply directly to designated Korean universities.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a citizen of a GKS partner country
- Be under 25 years old as of March 1, 2026
- Hold a high school diploma (or equivalent) and not already possess a bachelor’s degree
- Maintain strong academic records (CGPA ≥80%)
- Be in good health, with no criminal record
